Made from iron rich Australian stoneware clay with a dark Shino glaze covering the piece.
This piece was fired in an Anagama wood kiln for 100 hours. Wood is fed into the kiln every five to ten minutes to keep the temperature inside climbing. The ash from the burning wood then flies through the kiln landing on pieces to create beautiful and unique colours. This makes each piece individual and irreplaceable.
Dishwasher safe however, hand washing is recommended. This piece was fired in Jann Kesby's kiln
