Made from a white Australian stoneware clay with Iron brush work and light wood ash covering the vase.
This piece was fired in an Anagama wood kiln for 100 hours. Wood is fed into the kiln every ten minutes to keep the temperature inside climbing. The ash from the burning wood then flies through the kiln landing on pieces to create beautiful and unique colours. This makes each piece individual and irreplaceable.
Wheel thrown and altered in my Northern Rivers studio, perfect for a small bouquet. Fired in the Middle Pocket Anagama.
Hand washing is recommended. Approx. 17.5cm H x 9.5cm W.
