White speckled Australian stoneware clay with heavy ash and flashing and a Shino glaze on the inside of the piece. Please note this piece is unglazed on the inside, however the clay is water tight and food safe.
This piece was fired in a Catenary wood/soda kiln for 40 hours. Wood is fed into the kiln every five to ten minutes to keep the temperature inside climbing. The introduction of soda and ash from the burning wood flies through the kiln landing on pieces to create beautiful and unique colours. This makes each piece individual and irreplaceable. Fired in Jann Kesby's kiln.
Dishwasher safe however, hand washing is recommended. Approx. 6cm H x 10cm W.
