Discover the joy of clay with your own two hands! In this friendly and flexible pottery class, you’ll learn the timeless techniques of hand-building. From pinch pots and coil building to slab work and decorative finishes.
Whether you’ve never touched clay before or are returning to pottery, you’ll be guided step-by-step in bringing your ideas to life. All skill levels are welcome, and we celebrate creativity in every form.
This 2.5 hour class is designed to be as flexible as possible, there is no set curriculum. Each week students can work on projects of their own choosing. With over six years teaching and eight years' experience running her own studio, Sofie will help you through any and all creative challenges.
What’s included:
- Australian mid-fire clay
- All the tools you’ll need to create your pieces
- A selection of 3 mid-fire glazes
- Bisque and glaze firing of your finished work
When: Starting 3rd September - Wednesday evenings - 6pm to 8:30pm

Cost: $320 for a consecutive four-week block

Please note -
A minimum of four students is needed for the class to go ahead. Due to kiln size, projects can be no bigger than 30x30x30cm. There is no set end date to these workshops, feel free to book in anytime for your four week block.
All bookings are non-refundable. If you can’t make your class, we can offer you a credit for later use if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. With less than 48 hours’ notice, we cannot offer you any credit, thank you for your understanding. You are welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else and make their day!
