Made from Iron rich Australian stoneware clay with light ash covering the rim.
This piece was fired in an Anagama wood kiln for 70 hours. Wood is fed into the kiln every ten minutes to keep the temperature inside climbing. The ash from the burning wood then flies through the kiln landing on pieces to create beautiful and unique colours. This makes each piece individual and irreplaceable.
Wheel thrown and altered in my Northern Rivers studio, perfect for a dried bouquet.
While these pieces can be used functionally they were intended for decorative purposes.
Dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended. Approx. 10cm H x 5cm W.
